I am a Thief

Hi everyone!

I have a terrible confession to make. I am a thief, that's right...I stole something.

I took these two awards from Howie Pee Pugpants and I didn't ask for permission! I took them and I am proud of it...er, them!!

This first award goes to Ollie, The I Peed On It So It's Mine Award. Ollie is quite the piddler. We have to keep an eye on him when we are in public as he will try to piddle on everything. He even tried to piddle on a nice lady at the last agility trial, twice!

This next award is for Charlie. The My Mom Humiliated Me on the Internet Award. Charlie has had to hang her head in shame ever since I posted the video of her having a temper tantrum. She is pouting right now.

In other news, I have a job interview tomorrow morning. This is with a temporary agency for a temp to permanent job. Please cross your fingers with me, the pay is very good and the opportunity would be great.

More agility coming up this weekend. I will keep you posted on the interview and more. Thank you all for being there for me!

Charlie is Sporty!

Hi everyone!

I hope you have had a wonderful weekend. We spent Saturday at the AKC Agility Dog Trials. Charlie did very well in her two runs and received Qualifying Ribbons and Third Place Ribbons both times! We are very proud of our little puggy girl and also her wonderful Grandma that has trained her so well and runs her around the ring. Thank you Grandma!





Here are a few pictures of Charlie and her ribbons. She wasn't really in the mood to pose for photos...can't you see her excitement? We interrupted a good game of chase and bitey face she was having with Ollie.





These are her first AKC ribbons and we hope to have more soon!

Pug Meet Up

Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a great weekend. We went to a pug meet up in Issaquah, WA and then went to visit my sister. Hi Sister!!

The pug meet up was at an industrial park in a large building used by a dog training facility. We were a little late so we didn't get to play too much. But we did have fun and I took some pictures. Unfortunately they are dark and mostly blurry. The lighting was bad and the puggies were fast! I did get a few photos to share.

This little cutie is Lola. I tried to get her picture while she was playing but all I got was a blur. She was finally still in her momma's arms. Lola is just five months old.

Here is another silly puppy, Cooper. He is six months old and was making googly eyed faces at me.

There were a lot of adorable pugs to visit and the people were very nice. Since this was a birthday party for all the pugs, the doggies got a present as we were leaving. Our dogs are having a lot of fun with their new toys and treats. They even gave us one for Honey, even though she didn't get to play with the pugs. Here's our Charlie taking a break from all the action.

After the meet up we let the dogs stretch their legs at the park across the street. They got to explore and sniff around. These pictures are a lot clearer. :o)

After the park we went to visit my sister who lives nearby. We had a very nice visit and were treated to the best brownies ever! My sister is an awesome cook and I learned all my skills from her. We are so lucky when my sister sends us a Christmas treat. One year it was a big pan of these yummy brownies. We also had the tea cakes and rum balls another year. I'm getting hungry thinking about all these goodies!

Friday Fun

Hi everyone!


I have been on the job hunt and have sent out resume's and applications. I have also signed up with a temp agency. Hopefully someone will call me in for an interview and I can dazzle them with my skills. ;o)


I have been getting in a lot of quality lap time with the pugs. They are so sweet and want to be on me all day if I let them. Unfortunately we have been having a hot spell in our neighborhood and two hot puggies plus hot flashes on a hot day can be a bit too much! The warm weather is nice but we are glad it is cooling down a few degrees this weekend. We have a pug meet up this weekend and the low 70's is much better for the flat nosed babies. And of course, we will have pictures to share!


Speaking of sharing, I put together a little video for you all! This is from our trip in April. If you recall we had put up our ex-pen in the back of our mini van for the dogs. This was very nice for us as it kept the kids contained and out from under Dad's feet while driving. Charlie, however was not happy with the new setup and let us know. Charlie is a vocal little girl so turn up the volume!
